We are looking forward to our next season of ministry to young

Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) throughout our community on

the 2nd & 4th Thursdays from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. beginning

September 11th through May 28, 2015

OUR THEME THIS SEASON is from Isaiah 43:18-19

"Forget the former things; Do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing!

Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness

And streams in the wasteland.”

We also offer our Moppets Program for your preschooler (Birth to age 5) for $5 per preschooler per session or $90 for the 9-month season. Your preschooler will enjoy CIRCLE TIME with songs, story time in the Bible, snack, free play and create something special from their story of the day.

Moms always enjoy a time of sharing with other Moms in the same season of life. There will be laughter, interactive discussions, practical ideas and tips to make your life a little easier and more enjoyable.

Sep 11- Courage to Be Honest

Honesty is the most important currency for building healthy relationships. It can feel risky to show others your vulnerable places, but in the end it’s less exhausting than maintaining a contrived image. Join us as we listen from Author Shauna Niequist as she shares her own story. And conveys the risks and rewards involved when stepping out and being yourself, honestly.

Sep 25- Courage to Be Significant

Motherhood is both hard and courageous. Join us as we hear Lisa-Jo Baker’s story of how she found significance in motherhood when she left her career as an international human rights attorney for her new job as mom.

Oct 9-Courage to Love People Extravagantly

Bob Goff adventures around the globe have taught him how to better love people just as they are, right where they are. From the Congo to the Oval Office to the top of the Kilimanjaro, Bob’s heart overflows as he takes Jesus’ mandate to love one another to extravagant places. Bob’s stories will give you a jolt of courage to take your kids on the adventure of loving those around you.

Oct 23- Courage to Forgive and be Forgiven

Infidelity exploded Justin and Tricia Davis’ marriage. Hear their story of reconciliations and forgiveness. Be inspired by how they stepped out of safety into vulnerability, grief and risk to heal their deepest wounds.

Nov 13-Courage to Be Generous

Join us as we hear Author Alexandra Kuykendall share how she wants to live a generous life, but fear of scarcity-that there won’t be enough for her or her family- often gets in the way. From surrounding herself with people who offer her perspective on her past circumstances, to challenging herself to give past the comfortable, Alex shares how she works toward living a generous life.
